Jazmin Cuarenta, Senior Library Clerk
We are excited to welcome Jazmin Cuarenta to our team at Compton Community College! Currently pursuing her Master of Library and Information Science at Louisiana State University, Jazmin holds a bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies with a minor in African American Studies from UCLA. With extensive experience as a substitute teacher in K-12 settings, she has developed strong skills in classroom management and lesson planning. As a volunteer library/media assistant, Jazmin has supported students in navigating library resources and technology. Her previous role as a restoration engineer and archivist showcases her dedication to preserving information and enhancing accessibility. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to the positive impact she will make in our community!
Fun Fact: Jazmin enjoys traveling and exploring new cuisines.
Felicia Marshall, Student Services Advisor
We are excited to welcome Felicia Marshall to our team at Compton Community College! Felicia is a dedicated student service professional with a strong background in guiding students through admission, registration, and degree requirements. Previously serving as the Registrar at Bethesda University, she has demonstrated expertise in managing student records and ensuring compliance with academic policies. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and as a Master’s candidate in College Counseling at Cal State University, Dominguez Hills, Felicia is passionate about promoting student growth and success. Her skills in academic advising, data management, and effective communication will greatly enhance our efforts to support students on their educational journeys. We are excited to have her join us!

Michael Morales, Accountant
We are excited to welcome Michael Morales to our team at Compton Community College! Currently pursuing his MBA at California State University, Long Beach, where he also earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration, Michael brings a strong educational foundation and a diverse range of professional experience to our institution. Michael joins us as a strategic financial analyst with a wealth of experience in risk analysis, financial modeling, and business valuations, particularly in the media, entertainment, and technology sectors. His impressive background includes recent roles at Deloitte, where he provided critical financial insights for high-profile business combinations, and as a sector account manager, where he significantly increased revenue and profitability. With strong skills in due diligence, forecasting, and collaboration, Michael is well-equipped to drive strategic initiatives at Compton Community College. We look forward to his contributions and are excited to have him on board!
Fun Fact: Outside of work, Michael is a passionate runner and enjoys spending time with his dog, Mocha.
David Zamora, Alternative Media and Assistive Technology Specialist
We are excited to welcome David Zamora to our team at Compton Community College! David earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Bellevue University, following his Associate's degree from Mt. San Jacinto Community College. Previously as an Alternative Media Navigator at Mt. San Jacinto College, he has a strong background in assisting students with technology and educational resources. With his proficiency in multiple operating systems and software applications, David is well- equipped to support our students in their academic journeys. We are excited to have him join us and look forward to his valuable contributions!
Fun Fact: One of David's future goals is to develop a mobile game. He is currently teaching himself 3D modeling and coding in Swift for Apple software. David aspires to handle all aspects of the project, from coding and modeling to music and art. His passion for technology and video editing drives his creative pursuits
