Welcome to the Compton Community College District. Student success is central to our mission of supporting the educational needs of our community. Originally established in 1927, the District now serves five Trustee Areas encompassing 12 cities.

Board Meetings

Board meetings are held the third Monday of each month and are open to the public. 5:00 p.m. (Closed Session), 6:00 p.m. (Open Session), unless otherwise noted.

Community Engagement in the CCCD


  • CCCD Board of Trustees: The next Regular Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 23 at 6:00 p.m. The in-person meeting will be held in the Board Room, located in the Administration Building.
  • Foundation for the CCCD: Next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 26 at 5:30 p.m. in the Board Room, located in the Administration Building.
  • Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee: The committee will meet on Thursday, February 12 at 5:00 p.m. in the Board Room.
  • The CCCD is seeking qualified, interested individuals to serve on a committee of community leaders which will serve as the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee. For more information, and to download the application, click here.
  • The Compton Community College District is soliciting applications for individuals interested in serving as an appointed member of the Board of Trustees, representing Trustee Area 2. This appointee will serve until the November 3, 2026 election, pursuant to Education Code 5091(a)(1). Click here for more information.
