Board of Trustees Vacancy

The Compton Community College District (CCCD) is soliciting applications for individuals interested in serving as an appointed member of the Board of Trustees. This appointee will serve until the November 3, 2026 election, pursuant to Education Code 5091(a)(1).

Applicants are sought for appointment to the position of Trustee Area 2, which includes portions of Compton, Enterprise, Willowbrook, and West Rancho Dominguez. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and registered voters residing in Trustee Area 2.

Board Vacancy Meeting Schedule:

February 19, 2026 (5:00 p.m. PST): Deadline for Board Vacancy Applications to be received by the President/CEO.
February 23, 2026: Board members will review the applications for the vacant Trustee Area 2 position
March 9, 2026: Interviews will be conducted for the provisional Trustee Area 2 position.
