Final Thoughts

In the President/CEO Message - September 30, 2021, I will announce winter 2022, spring 2022, and summer 2022 instruction. I was able to receive creative input at today's Consultative Council meeting about the safe return to campus related to instruction.

Last week, I was interviewed by Inside HigherEd for the "A' Loud and Clear' Call to Invest in Black Men" article. I shared my thoughts on Black Student Recruitment and Retention efforts at Compton College and how the work we do must be transformative. I am excited that we are hiring a director of black and males of color. As mentioned in the President/CEO Message - September 13, 2021, we will be hiring a Student Services Advisor to focus on student recruitment for Black and Males of Color.

In closing, in many President/CEO Messages, I ask for creative input regarding items or matters that impact the College. Hopefully, you will consider providing input on items or matters in the future by emailing me at kcurry@compton.edu

Sincerely,

Keith Curry, Ed.D.
