We are now offering in-person enrollment services!

Beginning July 13, 2022, will be offered in-person enrollment servives by appointment and same-day appointment. Students may walk into Compton College to receive in person enrollment services.

PLEASE NOTE: To help ensure the health and safety of the Compton College campus community and the public, face coverings are required to be worn while on campus. Additional information will be emailed to you upon confirmation of your appointment.

Apply for Admission

New and returning students (those with an absence of two consecutive primary terms: fall or spring semesters; excluding summer and winter terms) must complete an online application for admission. Additional services include assistance with AB 540 and residency.  

Financial Aid

Meet with the Financial Aid Office to help you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and/or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).

Orientation

Orientation provides an introduction to academic programs and support services to help you succeed. Orientation is only offered online via the MyCompton portal. Students must have an activated Compton College student email account to access the online Orientation.

Educational Planning

Meet with a counselor and complete an educational plan to identify classes that are required to complete your certificate, degree or transfer program. 

Register for Classes

After you create an educational plan with a counselor, receive technical assistance to officially register for classes (add and waitlist) via the MyCompton portal. 

CalWORKs, EOPS/CARE or Special Resource Center (SRC)

Students can make an in person appointment with CalWORKs, EOPS/CARE or the SRC! 

Student I.D.

All students are encouraged to obtain a free Compton College identification card. These cards serve as student identification, and are required for Library services, campus activities, computer labs, and to verify attendance in certain classes/workshops. You may also request a replacement card.

The Compton College Bookstore is open for in-store shopping, and all books and materials needed are available online at www.comptonbookstore.com.

New! After-Hours Self-Serve Help

If you need assistance between 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., please use the Online Help System. Search for information including supprt services, financial aid, registration help. You may also chat with an after-hours support team.
