Allison Brown, Director Special Resource Center
We're excited to welcome Allison Brown as the latest addition to our Compton College team. With over 15 years of experience in student-focused academic environments, Allison brings a wealth of expertise in assisting students with disabilities and diverse backgrounds to achieve their academic and career goals. Her journey is marked by significant roles, including Program Supervisor at Long Beach City College, where she excelled in coordinating person-centered planning processes and establishing inclusive supports. Allison's dedication to empowering individuals is evident in her commitment to providing personalized counseling, advocating for student success, and developing partnerships within the community. Her academic background includes a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling, complemented by certifications in mental health first aid and diversity, equity, and inclusion. With her extensive skills and accolades, we're excited to have Allison contribute to our mission and enrich our team's endeavors.
Fun Fact, Allison is an avid Chicago Bears fan—obsessed might be an understatement! Allison is looking forward to bringing that same level of dedication to our team here at Compton College.

Joe Calhoun, Utility Maintenance Worker
We're excited to welcome Joe Calhoun, our new Utility Maintenance Worker, to our team! With five years of experience in both residential and corporate facility upkeep, Joe brings a wealth of expertise in preventive maintenance and ensuring safety. In his previous role as Property Manager at Bebe Walker Inc, Joe coordinated maintenance schedules, efficiently resolved any needs of the residents and all while demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills. We're thrilled to have Joe join us and contribute his skills to our team's success!
Fun Fact, Joe was a member of a gymnastics team, that practiced at Compton College in 1983. Joe believes that if you work hard, you can achieve any goal that you set for yourself.
Kierra Manuel, Data and Reporting Analyst
We're excited to welcome Kierra Manuel, a recent graduate with a multitude of data analyst skills acquired through coursework and real-world projects. Kierra is currently pursuing a Master’s in Applied Statistics at California State University, Long Beach. Kierra brings a strong foundation in data manipulation, programming, and problem-solving. In her role as a Student Research Assistant at CSU Long Beach, she contributed to assessment and research efforts, demonstrating her proficiency in data analysis and report generation. Kierra's dedication extends to her volunteer work as a tutor, where she helps at-risk middle school students enhance their math and science skills. We're excited to have Kierra join our team and leverage her expertise to drive success!
Fun Fact, Kierra’s greatest accomplishment is rejoining Compton College, the educational institution where her journey began, while being a single mother supported by EOPS and CARE programs.
Antonio Siqueiros, Athletic Specialist
We're excited to welcome Antonio Siqueiros, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in coaching, education, and administration to our team! With a background in sports administration, health, and human performance, Antonio has demonstrated exceptional leadership and organizational skills throughout his career. His experience as an Instructional Assistant, Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach, and Director of Baseball & Operations at Veritas Training Academy showcases his dedication to supporting student athletes both academically and athletically. His accolades as a professional baseball player and his leadership achievements further highlight his commitment to excellence. We're thrilled to have Antonio join our team, where his expertise and passion will undoubtedly contribute to our success!
