Compton College COVID-19 Vaccine Incentive FAQ

In order to promote the health, safety and well-being of faculty, staff, students and the surrounding community, Compton College is offering a one-time incentive to fully-vaccinated students.

All students enrolled in in-person on-campus classes are required to be fully vaccinated by January 1, 2022 or will need to provide a qualifying exemption based on medical or religious grounds before being allowed in a campus classroom, facility or office.

To refer to Compton CCD Resolution No. #08-17-2021A for more information, click here.

You will be dropped from your in-person classes if you do not submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status or receive an approved Exemption/Accommodation by the second day of class.

Students are not considered fully vaccinated until two weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two weeks after a single dose vaccine (such as Johnson and Johnson's Janssen vaccine).

To refer to Compton CCD Resolution No. 11-16-2021B for more information, click here.

The Compton College Community District only allows for exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement based on a medical exemption, disability accommodation, or sincerely held religious belief. Students seeking an exemption are required to complete and submit the appropriate forms to Human Resources. All exemption requests will be subject to review and approval.
