How to Enroll into the EOPS/CARE Program
Complete an application for Compton College. Toward the middle of the page you will see "Begin Application..." Simply follow the instructions from there. It will take two days for your application to be processed and you will receive a confirmation email. Please note: Compton College has gone paperless and all correspondence is done online through MyCompton.
You will receive an enrollment date and time from the admissions office through MyCompton. Please be sure to enroll as soon as possible to ensure that you get your classes that you need. Only enroll after speaking with a counselor to ensure that you enroll in the correct classes.
3. FEE WAIVER:
Apply for the California College Promise Grant (formerly known as the BOG Fee Waiver) and if you qualify it will make your tuition FREE.
Apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The FAFSA is financial aid offered to all individuals interested in attending college. These funds help pay for costs associated with attending school.
5. Apply for EOPS:
Complete the New Student EOPS Application. Please read the application very carefully and be sure to submit all required documents. You will need to submit copies of your unofficial transcripts from any other colleges attended.
For CARE: You will need to submit copies of verification of benefits and your dependent's birth certificate.
