Gene Farrell, Special Trustee
In May 2017, California Community Colleges Chancellor Oakley appointed Gene Farrell
as the Special Trustee for Compton Community College District (CCCD) with stay and
rescind authority. The CCCD Board of Trustees approved Farrell's employment contract
at their Special Board meeting on May 9. Farrell is a graduate of the former Compton
Junior College and recently served as the interim chancellor for Coast Community College
District.
