How to Apply and Register
All new and returning students who have skipped one or more semesters must re-apply by submitting an online application. For tips on how to apply see the steps below.

Compton College is closed to the public Friday, March 20 - Friday, June 12, 2020. The Admissions and Records Office will be operating remotely.
Remote/Online Assistance: Student assistance is available during the college's temporary closure and remote instruction. Remote assistance is available 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. through Cranium Cafe. Submitting a Form: Please submit all forms to Admissions@compton.edu through your Compton College email account.
Admissions Applications: During this closure, Admissions Applications will still be processed. After you have submitted your application, please allow 48 hours to receive an email with your campus ID and further instructions.
Ordering Transcripts: Transcripts can be ordered online, more information is available here: Compton College Transcript Requests.
Additional Questions: Admissions and Records Related questions should be sent to Admissions@compton.edu. Be sure to include your student identification number and full name. Submit all requests and inquiries through your Compton college account. This allows for authentication.
The campus will be closed on the following dates:
- Monday, January 20, 2020 - Martin Luther King Jr. Observed
- Friday, February 14, 2020 - Lincoln's Day
- Monday, February 17, 2020 - Washington's Day
- Friday, April 17, 2020 - Local Holiday
- Monday, May 25, 2020 - Memorial Day
